Our April 20th meeting features Fred Holmes, Executive Chef at Thee Matriarch Bed and Breakfast in Orangeburg, S.C., who will share his personal experience in business regarding resolving conflicts in the workplace and personally.  "Chef" Fred uses humor and self-direction to handle these situations.

Fred's culinary journey began at the early age of 9 years old when his mother who was a Chef, introduced him to the art of food creation.  Recognizing Fred's gifts, his mother honed his skills and taught him both the foundational principles of cooking such as recipe reading and writing and proper techniques for the desired outcome.  Fred learned to how to make food sing melodious tunes of deliciousness by blending the right herbs and spices, cooking with detailed precision, and delivering exquisite plating and presentation as his mother believed that we eat with our eyes first.

Fred, a native of Charleston, South Carolina is a personal chef and the Executive Chef at Thee Matriarch Bed and Breakfast & Event Venue in Orangeburg, SC providing individual customized dining, a la carte and full service catering experiences.

Fred is passionate about the protection of individuals and families and is a licensed financial services advisor. 

Fred is a mentor and volunteers in the community with his church, Habitat for Humanity and the Samaritan House homeless shelter..  Fred is a man of faith with strong family values.

Our evening begins with virtual networking, followed by the program and our monthly meeting.

Cost is $5 to attend via Zoom, which must be paid in advance using PayPal. 

After registering and paying Zoom program fee, you will receive a confirmation email containing info needed to join the meeting.
